Grampians
Victoria
A spreading National Park in central western Victoria of
towering peaks, sheer cliffs and deep valleys; of
waterfalls, caves and striking rock formations - the rugged
beauty of these mountains, especially in the wet when the
wildflowers bloom, takes the breath away.
See the Big Wool-bale at Hamilton, the Botanic Gardens and
the lava caves; visit Horsham on the Wimmera River; go to
the old gold town of Stawell and inspect Bunjil's Shelter;
visit Ararat, taste the wine and admire the orchids; travel
to Hall's Gap up in the Grampians between Mt Difficult and
Mt William Ranges and see the Brambuk Cultural Centre;
examine the Cave of Hands, the Cave of Fishes and the Flat
Rock Caves, go to the Mt Difficult Lookout and see the world
at your feet.
