Limestone Coast South Australia
Stretching from Lake Alexandrina down to Mt. Gambier at the border with Victoria, the Limestone Coast is so named for its bedrock. It includes the wonderful Coorong National Park, a series of lagoons and large inland lakes separated from the sea by Younghusband Peninsula; Mt. Gambier with its volcanic landscape and extensive caves, and the rich Coonawarra which produces some of the world's best red wines.

Fish the inland sea of the breathtaking Coorong, go bird watching, see pelicans, ducks, swans, ibis and the migratory sandpipers and stilts, surf, swim or sail, visit the Aboriginal sites. Explore the limitless caves near Mt. Gambier and see the famous Blue Lake, swim the brilliant white beaches, dine on lobster and Coonawarra wine.
